Well I doubt it. Sometimes I see it as a blessing if anything. Especially if someone is blind. If they are blind, they may have to read the Bible in brail, but do you know how innocent they would be in terms of lusting or anything like that? Or if someone was deaf, you know how innocent they would be in terms of reviling, etc.? Sure, they miss out on some things, but in a way it is like an armor that prevents them from sinning.

Same thing with people with autism, etc. I think you get my perspective.
Contrary to what you believe just because someone is blind or has some other physical disability they really aren't exempt from specific sins. Blind people do lust and deaf people can argue.

Last time I researched this, the information I found stated that 1 in 3 Americans have SOME level of mental/emotional disorder. There are SO MANY levels that the disorder can be hard to diagnose and thus, properly treated.

I don't buy the "demonic" idea...........in my opinion, that tends to be the "catch all cop out," and is far over used.
REMEMBER, those people who say that 1 in 3 in the US have some "disorder" have an agenda... TO SELL PILLS! so the more people they get to believe they have a disorder and buys the pills they sell they get MORE MONEY!

AKA Big Pharma wants everyone taking pills, they even invent "disorders" to sell pills!

It can be treated, especially if the person is willing to receive the Scriptures.
Yes...no question. Some people are really wounded and its a hard road but Christ can heal.

Well, exactly. The cruellest thing that an adviser can do is try to say to a mentally ill person: Put religion out of your mind. Blessings.
