I like big dogs. Not little ankle-biters like chihuahuas or poodles..lol :)

Yes; but not all little dogs are like chihuahuas, fiesty 1 person dogs.

We got this tiny black dog I thought was an Italian Greyhound, because it looks like one. But later someone told he it was half Chihuahau & half Dachshund. It is very sweet, would never dream of biting an ankle. You can pick it up and carry it around, set it on your lap. Its poops are small! A definite bonus. Peggy Sue is definitely a very low maintenance dog.

My 2 big dogs (outside mostly) present a definite chore picking up & disposing of their poops, though they are just what I wanted for security, as they make a big scandal of barking when someone approaches the house, jump up & down against the fence -- though the worst they would probably do to anyone is lick them excessively.
