well if you dont ask, you dont receive. God will give us wisdom liberally.
if you think YOU know everything already...you dont. Satan tries to get us to think we know it all. we really dont. God knows, we only see in part because we are human.
when God gives us revelation its for His benefit really and pleasing to Him.

His ways are not our ways as His way is higher.

apply the wisdom to your life and you will grow spiritually and bear fruit. The bible says wisdom is more precious than rubies, once you got it you keep it forever.

Proverbs 4:1 talks about it.

Twistii, you are spending entirely too much time trying to identify sins. Stop asking "is this or that a sin", and start looking at the world through the lens of God's love for you and what he expects from you.

Luke 10:25 Just then an expert in the Law stood up to test Jesus. He asked, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
26 Jesus answered him, "What is written in the Law? What do you read there?"
27 He answered, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. And you must love your neighbor as yourself."
28 Jesus told him, "You have answered correctly. 'Do this, and you will live.'"

Jesus paid the price for your sin. All he asks of you in return is your love.

If its okay with me asking, what should I do if I commit an action and am not sure if it’s a sin or not?

Yeah but like, don’t u think I should test anything that could be wisdom received from God?

sure do what God says and it will be the right thing. Put it into action and test it for sure. He wont put you wrong. Thats faith in God to trust what He says is right.

my Bible says 'prove all things' instead of 'test' but its kinda the same. Proof is in the pudding as people say.

its like when you follow a recipe in a cookbook and it turns out delicious because you followed the directions.

ha I thought the laws were put in place for our safety.
Its not about the law per se. You need to figure out why there are laws in the first place, the purpose of them.

If you go back to the beginning in Geneiss God did make a rule for adam and eve to follow, not because He just liked making rules and wanted to test to see if Adam and Eve were good rule followers. But cos if they ate from the wrong tree, they would DIE.

None of Gods commandments were commandments just for the sake of having commandments either.

Well, let’s say I still commit an action that I’m not sure is a sin. Do I just ignore it and move on with my life?

If whatever you do, in word or deed, is done in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him, you will be sure that what you have done is not a sin.

If its okay with me asking, what should I do if I commit an action and am not sure if it’s a sin or not?

If you are not sure, give it to God. Ask Him for, and accept His forgiveness, then move on.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What I’m about to say is probably a really bad argument, but let’s say, hypothetically, I asked God if I should be patient or impatient. Now obviously common sense would probably say patient. If I, were (for some highly improbable chance) not sure if it was okay, and I sincerely believed God told me in prayer impatience is okay (I’m not sure if this is possible), does that mean I should try being impatient and see if it’s okay? I feel like Matthew 7:11 defeats this point, but what do you think?

This seems like a really good thing for me to do, but it doesn’t really answer my question my friend.
Also, I have, on paper, stuff that’s written down that’s like maybe almost every time I’ve done something that may or may not be a sin
To put it simply, writing down what I did

This might not change anything in terms of your past responses, but what do you think I should do with those?

spend some time with God, go over it and tick which ones God says ok and cross out what ones God says no to.

Maybe you are a list person, I can be too at times. When you spend time with God He'll let you know. He might answer you in that still small voice in your head. He might give you some scripture in the Bible to look up. Or He might tell you to throw away that list.

You need some assurance and answers and you can get this from God, if you ask. When you have the holy spirit He will help you and guide you to all truth. If you have yet to experience this, good thing is to ask Him in Jesus name.
