What memories... I've been to Truk Lagoon (Chuuk) twice diving WWII battle wrecks (where some of your photos came from), and once to Bikini Atoll (where they did the nuclear tests right after the war) diving those wrecks (no I don't glow, most of the radiation from those tests washed up onto the shores of Japan). They weren't spooky, they were awesome! It was right after Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan came out, so there was big interest in WWII history at the time. Very educational!

Also did a couple shark dives while there, and saw some beautiful growth and fish life as well (including one Lionfish who knew what a camera is!)

wow, that's cool.. I believe I have some pictures from Bikini Atoll in my collection so I will post them later. :)

Those military wrecks are so sad, pilots and seamen died. Every sinking is so sad, the Titanic, the Lusitania, it disturbs me. The positive is the wrecks provide habitat for marine animals.
