Vain Christians???

The cares of this world will be destroyed. Anyone that does not forsake all to follow Jesus, whether homes or family, or jobs, or lands, or anything pertaining to this world, are not fit to follow Jesus. Anyone who worries about temporary things, are not focused on the eternal things. This life, though some say it will not end, will CERTAINLY end, along with the vanity of it. There is nothing that matters more to me, nothing worth living for other than the importance of the Will of God done.

I am convinced that there is nothing that matters in life. Anyone that takes pride in this life, and in little silly things, empty things, will be left. The pride of life will perish with the world. Those who laugh now, will mourn later. Those who mourn now, will laugh later. Those who are persecuted now will be glorified later. Those who are glorified now will burn later. ALL OF THIS WORLD WILL BE BURNED AWAY, but the righteous will live.

What is your life but like a passing wind? People, things, time, vanity and vexation. That is what life is to the faithless and to the perverse. Indeed, there is a shaking like never before. And Satan is busy about his work, but the work of the Lord has overcome.

Be prepared, stay on your posts, pray, that you enter NOT into temptation, for the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. PRAY!

What are you doing? Are you just a lazy vain person? Idle? I tell you this, all idle servants will burn with the ungodly. So get up and be about the Lord's business, or you will be FIRED!

Brother I am in complete agreement with you. The Holy Spirit has worked through you write this message, because it has served me as a reminder. And it should serve all of us as a reminder of what truly matters. We forget so often and easily that our time here is so short, and we spend it worrying about things that are nothing compared to the glory that awaits those who wait on Christ and walk according to His will. Lord I just pray that you will open the eyes of all of us Lord, and clean us from the inside out, give us a pure heart that is focused in only doing those good works you've prepared beforehand. You promised you would never leave us nor forsake us Lord, and you promised that if we sought after your kingdom that you would provide for us Lord. We have it all with you, give us the boldness to do your work Lord because the days are short.
