I have been in the OP's moccasins many times, and, presumably, so have many others (probably everybody) here been in them. In other words, we all live in the same fallen world, and the temptations or trials which we face are "common to man."

1Co 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Have I ever been tempted to be angry at God? Of course, I have, and probably hundreds or thousands of times. I am just seeking to state that it is never a wise thing to do because God is perfect, holy, and just. In other words, there is never a justifiable reason to be angry at him.

may be the same but not the same human.

Yep, there are many verses about why God doesn’t answer - unconfessed sin, not giving finances because of ill intent, not healing, not His time, not His way, etc etc.

It’s kind of like when Israelites (and Hophni and Phineas) got the Ark if the Covenant in the camp. They were so pumped that the ground shook. And yet they were both defeated and died, and Israel suffered one of its greatest defeats. Of course we know that Hophni and Phineas were totally corrupt and thought they could go into battle and win just because they had the Ark. Not only was God exceedingly angry, but He destroyed them and Eli completely. Many of us think we can just seek God and that’s it, or fast and think God will automatically adhere to us, but it doesn’t work that way. I’ve learned that if you fast and God is not telling you to, or you have unconfessed sin, then you are in danger of stirring Gods wrath against you, as I did. Then you’re worse off than when you started. God will not bend to our demands or requests if we do not meet His criteria. Period.

And so, many Christians have invoked His wrath and sought Him either with unclean hands or unconfessed sin or wrong motives and are now in a bad situation. What can they do? Tough one.
In response to your post here. You can try this, and I learned this prayer method from the late South Korean Pastor David Yonghi Cho who led the largest church congregation in the world. When you pray to God the father, you make an offering to him, close your eyes and visualize Jesus on the cross and his blood, and I repeat Father God, I make my offering to you in the form of your son Jesus Christ and his blood to atone for all my sins, known and unknown. And through his blood, I'm am now sanctified and made holy in your presence. I am made holy because Christ is holy. Hear the request of your holy child (you).... and then make your request known to the Lord...

A lot of what you say, aligns with my personality too. We're all different but we share a few things on how we do things in this life. I am very visual and learn by doing things first, hands-on so my approach is very visual and direct.
I went into a church once, under the cross of Christ and i imagined that i left a very heavy travel bag there and i said:

Dear God, i can't carry this burden anymore so i am leaving this heavy bag here at your feet. Help me.

When i left the church i felt as light as a feather.
Thank you Jesus !

awesome brother, I'd love to hear how God healed your sickness and the circumstances, if that is something you are wiling to share.
It's an incredible journey and test of faith for sure.

I am not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean that people go through similar situations, but different people handle them differently? Do you mean something else? Could you please clarify for me? Thank you.

To say you have walked in another's shoes could not be the furthest from the truth. Only God knows what each of his children or lost ones go through. That is like saying, I know as much as God.

Thank you for clarifying because I honestly was not sure what you meant. I understand what you are saying. I would not personally go so far as to say that it is the furthest from the truth because I do believe that different people experience similar situations in life, but I get your point.

Ok, so... my synopsis of the discourse within this thread is the OP's passive-aggressive admittance to unconfessed sin, and his resultant anger in the frustration of his prayers... And @Lynx, perceiving the OP's declaration of said anger to be a fresh cut off the beef thrown into a school of sharks trolling for injured prey proceeds to throw a dash of salt onto the newly sliced shank in a weak attempt to cauterize the wound of which some stray granules have been inadvertently strewn into @keepingthingsreal eyes, that caused concern on @Sanders part that which might turn into a log if allowed to fester for very long... :geek:

Let's say divorce. we can agree that every relationship is different, but we can also agree that every divorce is painful.
if you been through one (luckily I haven't) then surely you can empathize with someone who is going through it.

If that wasn't someone speaking in an unknown tongue, then I don't know what is! o_O

Is there an interpreter in the house?

P.S.

I am only joking.

Yes there are similarities. I was simply commenting on how the other gentleman said he knew exactly how the OP felt and walked in the same moccasin's. God sees us as individuals. Each with their own story and reactions/ responses. Even if circumstances look identical.

I switched browsers so that I could properly react to this reply (though I'm still wish I were allowed at least two reactions so I could double down with a heart!) Thanks for taking my comments with, a grain of salt ;)

I' seen word that the edge browser has updated so that emojis are again fully functional and so I will be sure to procrastinate on updating it again, eventually.

Wow that's quite a flurry of words. I am at a loss of words at this point for this particular OP post, etc..
