Spent some quality outdoor time with my dog, a good friend, and his dog

My pup had a blast. We both came home dirty, bug-bitten, and rained soaked.
after both of us cleaned up, I went grocery shopping, and came home and cleaned.
Now im goofing off on the Internet while waiting for laundry to finish, and if i can stay awake long enough, going to deep condition my hair and rinse all the temporary purple color out and maybe watch some Netflix. Or just wrap up my hair and go straight to bed. We'll see.

I did laundry, cleaned the house and cooked most of the day. I made a crockpot of chili, a big pot of chicken veggie rice soup, and apple pie filling to make individual apple cinnamon rollups this week for dessert for my son & me and whoever happens to stop in for dinner. :) Cooking meals ahead of time makes it easier the rest of the week.

I hate to cook :)

I'm not patient enough to cook,

so my Mom does my lunch etc...

Fortunately, ;)

My dog doesn't do that!

I'm glad and proud of him (his behavior),

PS: you can always ask God everything,

so you can pray to Jesus to correct your dog,

or to heal his bad behavior (of your dog) etc...

:D

I don't take photos of my day. Good thing. Most days you'd only see photos of my front window from the inside, and the blind is down, or my TV. Might get a close up of my computer screen, but I think you've seen one or two of those in your life.

But I was thinking about this post several days ago when I was working on my garden. My garden is more interesting then the inside of my front window, my TV and my computer screen all put together. And I did something in the garden. Not as much as I expected, but it took an hour, and I was proud I could work for a full hour. And then I had more work to do, and wondered should I do that or respond to this invitation. (I did both, but guess which one won first place in "Things to do.")

And then I tried to post it. It's a video. I have a YouTube account. I have Microsoft Windows, so Microsoft Windows told me I had to post through them, didn't get what they meant (insomnia, and I was trying to post in the middle of the night so the brain was on static), tried to get help through Microsoft support, took me half an hour before I finally understood it wasn't their problem it was Google's problem. (YouTube -- owned by Google as is my gmail account. Yeesh!) So I gave up, until now. This is what I did five days ago.

But, ShineYourLight, I addressed you in the beginning, so this really is for your thread.

I have never laughed so hard in my life from a 4-year old kid until today. My teachers and teacher assistants were laughing at me because I was laughing so hard. This kid is going to become a comedian when he grows up. No doubt. When I was asked to become the overseer of the preschool rooms of my church, I wasn't hesitant to say yes. After working and overseeing the ministry of the preschool rooms for over a year, my time is coming to a close. It's heartbreaking, but I know God is leading me in different directions. Kids like this one makes it worthwhile, having been able to work with them and just seeing the innocence of children.

I am walking away from this ministry in two weeks and my heart is struggling, but I know I am so very grateful for what Jesus is going to do in these young kids lives as well as mine. :)
