To not be bored and to have friends. To be happy and to be safe and to be with God and to have a wife, plus benifits.

I felt fine today because I didn't have to work. Sometimes I get bored at work.

It seems to me thorough readings of the Bible are proper study.

That is very sad. It isn't necessary to read Bible introductions, but they are interesting. You need to find a good bookstore that sells Christian study books. Certainly you could find internet bookstores, if you can get them to ship books to Norway.

I also enjoyed reading apocryphal books for a while, until I discovered what a great quantity of them there were.

I dont even know what those are.

I recently got a bible in english and am unable to find out when it was printed .... it doesn't say anywhere on it that I can find.
All I know is that it must be a KJ of some kind.

There is the Apocrypha, which we are all familiar with, but there is also New Testament (or Christian) apocrypha, and pseudepigraph.

You could google it.

I figure KJ is a good Bible, though I'd rather not use the 1600s version since the language is somewhat out of date.

I use the Revised Standard Version, the version I got when I was in Sunday school as a kid. It is not the same as the New Revised Standard Version.
