What makes homosexuality so bad?

who cares about spell check we are not perfect. Hey we got to tell them its against God, to stop doing it and explain why its bad their believeing a lie like romans chapter 1 and pray for them. Love them just like Jesus would. say its wrong but love too. How will we show Jesus if we do not love. Let them ask questions and listen and answer they will feel respected and see someone cares to listen and they will see JESUS and want HIM. we cannot be harsh or judge but talk to them with love. what would JESUS DO?He wouldnt kick them out did He kick the leprosys out no He welcomed them healed them and loved them. Jesus loved everyone. I watched a few movies on it, we got to be gentle their nature isnt good its evil. patience and love

Homosexuality is wrong for God does not see it as love,but as lust,for they left their natural instinct to gravitate towards the opposite sex,and left the natural use of the opposite sex.

And concerning men,that part of the body is not meant for that purpose.

Or to put it this way so frequently used,God created Adam and Eve,not Adam and Steve.

It should be repulsive to a man to want to be with a man,and foreign to them,and it is strange the things people do and do not feel dirty because of it,or do not care.

But in the end time they will be despisers of those that are good,which people will like doing sin,and it will not bother them as much as in time past.

It may be the case that a homosexual person didn't understand how to do jigsaws? Not sure. What I do say is that I'd hate for the person to end up in hell. Turn to Jesus. Keep your eyes on Him. Everything else will fade into insignificance.

Yes it is bad because it is perversion of what God has intended. However in telling this to someone who is homosexual or a non believer, we need to be careful with our words in that they are both telling the truth and that it is an a gracious matter. " Let your speech aways be with grace, seasoned with salt( see Colossians 4:6)

Bible morals, important morals.

Being gay isn't a personal, decision of whether I feel its wrong or if you feel its ok, the fact of the matter is that God calls it an abomination. Now if your ok with being at odds with God that's your decision, and you and you alone will answer to God. Since I do believe in God and respect his teachings and proper order of things, I choose to love the sinner yet hate the sin.

MayDanna got banned nearly a year ago.. There are plenty of threads on homosexuality in the Bible forum, current ones that are not zombie threads like this one is. You may want to look at the creation date, and whether who you're responding to has left or been banned..

IMO,worshipping the creation rather than the creator or recognizing and desiring that that can be perceived with one of the five senses but GOD Is a SPIRIT and those who worship HIM must worship HIM,HIS SPIRIT to our spirit and our spirit to HIS SPIRIT.

OK you got plenty of reasons as to why God condemns homosexuality.

But let us take God out of this hypothetically and look at homosexuality
from a Darwinian evolution point of view.

As you know evolution is about incremental DNA and chromosomal
changes from generation to generation that supposedly gives variations
advantages in survival; and thus this new "improvement" stays within
successive generations.

Even in Darwinian terms homosexuality is a dead end street.
There are no offspring.
There are no biological benefits to homosexual acts.
So even in Godless theory of evolution homosexuality is a perversion,
a departure from normal functioning and purpose of sex in biology.

The trouble for us humans is that we are not exclusively biological
and can choose to do lots of things for pleasure and culture.
We are not limited to our DNA program as animals are.

People can continue in sin because they choose to do so -
and sexual sins from adultery to pornography to homosexuality
and much in between is hugely popular.

Before I came to the Lord I was a very bad person and had many
sins of a sexual nature against myself.
But when I repented and believed the gospel -
baptisms of water and the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence
of speaking in tongues - Jesus not only forgave me but also
cleansed me from my sins by the power of the Holy Spirit, and
set me free.

This is the fundamental issue for every person straight or gay
to seek salvation in the gospel and Jesus our Redeemer.
To choose between life and death.
