Luke 15:7) I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Kind of negates clericalism, right? :)

It does, forsake man's wisdom. So I have learned to listen to all and sft all through the hidden man of my heart and get taught truth over errors of man.
Being wise as a serpent, the serpent brought doubt, and doubt is what beset Eve and Adam, and they ate, and here we all are trying to be righteous, which can be a good thing, Butt it is not, why?:
Matthew 19:17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

So what is the correct interpretation here, many take this as they better do all the commandments and then go to work at trying to be perfect, when no flesh can?

read further down how the rich man walked away sad and did obey the commandments from birth on, kind of annihilating isn't it?
Even the disciples thought so and asked how is it possible for anyone under the Law they have been taught to obey to enter Heaven?
You see after watching that rich man walk away sad, theyt were finally convinced that they could not possibly enter Heaven unless they could be perfect, and saw that as not possible, seeing onl;y one other choice att his time to cut off parts of their body that has sinned. Under Law better for part of me to enter Heaven than all of me go to Hell
So under Law the only way to enter Heaven is to be a torso. No arms and no legs, no eyes

Yet no cutting off will still get one in Heaven, fopr one can't cut out thoughts, and even if a man lusts after a woman in his heart has already committed Adultery

So there is no other way than Jesus the righteous one is there?

Pickles I love that you are not a creator, rather a responder to the amazing Love attached to Mercy from Father through Son
Love your humilty, and here comes the enemy to post proud thoughts to take away your humility, shut the door on the enemies thoughts, love you Sister

And the double edged sword is the word and the word came to earth and defeated the enemy, yes

Is anyone good? so whoever we say is good, are we then saying they are God?

Psalm 146
1
Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2
I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3
Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.
4
When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
6
the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them-- the LORD, who remains faithful forever.
7
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free,
8
the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.
9
The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10
The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

A great Psalm; I think Psalm 46 is more well known than Psalm 146...

Matthew 2:1

"Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem"

Herod the Great - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Luke 2:1-2

"And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria."

Quirinius - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
wikipedia? try this one; a little more scholarly:

Once-More-Quiriniuss-Census.aspx#Article

still problematic, but not as much as wiki suggests.

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

Lamentations is like this: you can read through a lot of fairly unfamiliar verses and then sudden there appear some very familiar ones! :)

3 .) Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

5 .) By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
6 .) Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:
7 .) Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
8 .) They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
9 .) Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
10 .) Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
