In Texas we have Jellies (amazingly enough)
In 2000 there was really bad red tide on the shores. It affected the fishing towns really badly. (at that time I lived in rockport tx, a small fishing town) thousands of jellies washed ashore dead. You could see the color red spreading through their bodies like a cancer.
