I've had tons of different pets over the years. I'm an avid animal lover. Not just pet animals, but any animal. I'd have a pet wolf or otter if I could. :D

Right now I have a one year old cat named Dakota, a 1.5 year old cat named Bella, and a 3 month old kitten named Toby. I also have a red betta fish that I've had for 3.5 years now. I live with my parents and Bella is their cat, while the others are mine. I'd love to have a dog, but my dad doesn't want one in the house. Someday I will have one! I used to want a horse, but they're a lot of work. I used to have ferrets too, I adore them and want to have them again someday!

At my old house my parents sort of opened up our house as an animal shelter. All of our pets, with the exception of a betta fish and a puppy, we took in from others. First our neighbors dogs had puppies and they gave us one only after my brother and I practically begged for her. She was a dachshund and we named her Ginger.

The next pet we had was a stray kitten that couldn't have been over a month old. We had no idea where the mother was so we kept the kitten for about two weeks until one of the neighbors dogs got a hold of it. My dad was sort of beat up about that because he and my mother had decided to keep the kitten because my sister wanted a cat, but we hadn't totally rid it of the fleas it had so my parents had chose to not let it inside yet. We never even decided on a name for it either.

The next pet was another kitten that my sister brought in from a friend of hers. He was black and white and she named him Stinky. Then my oldest brother's girlfriend had a cat she could no longer keep because of her dogs so we took him in too. His name was Tiger and although I am allergic to cats he formed a bond with me. He slept on the top bunk of my bed with me.

After that my brother(who wanted the first puppy) came across a dog that had been abused by her previous owner. You could raise your hand and she would flinch. She was also scared of thunderstorms and would hide if she heard thunder. She was a mix of boxer and we're weren't sure of what else. She was really nice and loving too. Her name was Sasha.

Then the neighbors who gave us our first puppy were moving to Louisiana and couldn't take their horses with them so even though we had never owned horses we took in 3 horses, Chevy, Tequila, and Cinnamon(we didn't get to name them).

Then our first dog, Ginger, had puppies and we could only keep one of them. My sister got to pick which we kept(although I said and still do that that was unfair :p). She also got to name him and named him Bruce.

I no longer have any of them because they either died or we had to get rid of them when we had to move. However, now we have a Siberian Husky puppy named Smokey. Out of all the pets I've had the only one I never really liked was the cat Stinky because he was mean. Now though I would like to get a rabbit and some fish.

Sorry for the long post!

I have to go with cats. I currently have two, and they're the best. They're soft and adorable. One of them pees around the house sometimes though, which can be annoying... We have no idea why she's doing it. But they both sleep with us in our beds, sit on our laps, etc. They're great.

Grew up with thoroughbred mongrels, genuine pavement specials and I loved them, have one now as well. Never cared for small yappers, especially sausage dogs until my daughter bought one and the wife brought one home then another one, strange dogs as they really grow on you. Also have my dog which is a White Swiss Shepherd..beautiful and extremely intelligent. Then there are our cats, all five of them along with two African Grey parrots.
