Tender Mercies...could also pass as a Jewish movie...one of those "Why does God allow...?" type movies.

I believe most Christian movies are truly mediocre. Here are my picks for good Christian movies:
Passion of the Christ for the artistry and intensity and depth of emotion. Luther for entertainment, historical value and encouragement in the faith.
