In a community pool jacuzzi with my aunt, mom, cousin and little brother. Then swimming in the heated pool, racing my little brother and cousin, from one end to the other and winning, even though I am 20 years older than them.

No. God is everywhere, and my PEACE is in HIM, not circumstances. "Places" are meaningless, since I'm the problem and wherever I go, there I am.
Even Jesus took time away from the crowd. I figure if He needed it, I need it.

My balcony is at least one of them. I’m allowing my nicotine addiction to flourish there and I can see that gulf no one longer knows the name of.
I don't care what they call it, we have visited several times for vacation, FL side. That would be another of my happy places. The Emerald Coast is beautiful!!

My real happy place though, where I always “feel” like I’m on vacation, is definitely Oahu, Hawaii, where half of my family is from.

My mother, my aunt and my deceased uncle, were born and raised there.

My grandpa died there and my grandmother stay there till she was 79, then moved to California for two years and passed away.

My grandmother worked at the marine base there, as a civil engineer. When she retired, they hired like 4 people to do her job. She has designed landscape, buildings and art structures in Hawaii for decades.

My grandfather was a famous musician in Hawaii, in the band ‘Na Hoku Pa’, which in Hawaii, either means, ‘The Stars’ or ‘The Planets’. My grandfather remarried after my grandmother and him divorced. The wife he remarried, Ellen, is well known traditional Hawaiian dancer, singer and amazing entertainer. Her energy is awesome.

I also have a half aunt because of them, named Tyler, who is basically famous in Washington State for her singing and music, mostly around the Spokane, Washington area. Her and I talk every week. She inspired me to get into music. Her music artist name is Tyler Alai.

My dad was also a drummer in the band, ‘Smash Fashion’ in the late 80’s, early 90’s but I think they only made one album. My dad is or was an excellent drummer though and loves rock music.

But…but…that’s on the wrong side of the gulf.😂
And beside all this, between thee and she there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to her, that would come from thence.

They are in high school. Shouldn’t they win?

I went like a decade with barely any exercise and by the time I got to the other end of the pool, my brother and cousin were basically still in the center of the pool, trying as hard as they can to be in second place.

I am obese and they have like a perfect BMi.

Our future leaders of tomorrow.

Very smart kids though.
