why are some ppl....

why are some ppl so closed minded about other ppl?
why cant they just figure it out that ppl are made differently.
we arent all the same. and i get a lot of ppl everywhere who want to make sure im a Christian just cuz i wear black or have the word goth in my nick. I bet if i dressed 'normal' and had the word prep in my nick no one would give a second thought. geez.
sorry. i just wanted to rant. ppl really annoy me when they do that. and not only do they annoy me but i feel really put down. i mean if they wuld just read my profile or get to know me first they would see who i really am.

yes my dear u r right we christians r guilty of judging a book by its cover ,many r anyway, even when God warns us not to judge by appearances. I personally have been guilty myself, not towards u in particular but , yes, judgin by outward appearances and we know its wrong . i persoanlly want to apologize to u for whomever has hurt u ,my heart goes out to u Gb

Ren thinks I am a horrible, unloving person because I don't like coffee... I think it's nasty....

And Hannah, I've had plenty of personal experience of others judging both me and my friends on appearances... When I first met Tyler (Seraph_Aximili) in person and he came to live with me on my ranch, I knew him to be one of the sweeteat, kindest peopl I had ever met. I knew his heart was 100% for God.. Yet because of the way he dressed, my parents and grandparents were afraid of him... People just ned to learn to get past the clothing and look at the heart. Because tthat is what truely matters.

Yes, judgmental ppl hurt your feelings, YES, its wrong, but its always went on, and always will, because ppl dont understand, what RIGHTEOUS judgment is, ( A little hint), it doesnt mean, goin on ahead and judging ppl and sayin well, i love the lord so its righteous ...WRONG, goin to someone in love, and tryin to help them out of love....is a whole nother ball game. Have I ever judged...yes, have I regretted it?...YES, and I try so hard to put myself in that persons shoes, before I go runnin my pie hole, cause you can never take words back once they have been said. Do like I do kid, let it go in one ear and out the other, opinions is like butts, we all go one,and they all stink.

This puzzled me. It made me consider myself really. And I can be very judgmental at times. Hmm this makes me wonder. Ir really does. Like when you said if you dressed normal. Hmm. Because I have seen this. And I even know it is true, that some people look okay on the outside but they are messed up on the inside. As a matter of fact, that was me. When I was in sin I looked like a church boy. Now, however I don't look the same on the outside, but the inside has truly changed, and I have heard things like, ''That is not the will of God for you to be looking like that?''

Now I remember when Jesus said, CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE CUP AND THE OUTSIDE WILL BE CLEAN!! Wow thank you goth4god6738. I want to know though, I have to be honest, why do you dress like that?

Ouch I don't drink coffee lol I prefer hot chocolate. I agree though it's sad to me I think of christians as the body of Christ, as 1 big family. It is sad when christians reject, shun, ignore, criticize, or judge each other or others, because Jesus said we would be known for our love for one another. I don't believe it's right to judge a person by appearance or what you may think about them, but learn to see as God sees, look on the heart. I am not perfect but I do pray at times God help me to see people through your eyes, help me to love them as you do, because I know otherwise I'd just be like the rest of the world.

Sadly many people seem to judge by the appearance :(

when I lived "up north", I often took the plane back home during vacations, and I found out this:

if you wear all black, the security guys will stop you... if you wear bright colors, they won't (or maybe it was random, but since this seemed to match the 8- 10 flights i did, that seems unlikely

don't let them get to you, and if they get too annoying, just pretend you think you're an actual vampire or something and scare them off :p

We have all experienced different things and therefore see life from different points of view. We can learn from each other.

I dress this way because I like the look. I enjoy black and I like the contrast of the silver studs and the bright accents of color on the black.
I have piercings and tattoos and I really enjoy them. They are just art on my body. When I was little (and still today) I would always draw on myself for fun.
to me it is a really artistic look and it catches my eye. I think the look I have is "me" and I have no problem with it and have prayed about it to make sure I am not going against God.
I don't do it to be "different" cuz if I were doing that I wouldn't buy my clothing from a store.
