Why doesn't this place have a sports section?

But to answer you question, probably because there isn't enough interest. They don't start sections of the forums until they feel there is enough interest in a subject to create them. And since i've rarely or ever seen such a request then they aren't going to make it. Even sections that seem like they would have a lot of use don't get used very much. So a subject that's had almost no interest shown sure isn't going to be heavily use.
