I feel as if I am a failure at life......I spent a few years in college and was not serious so I goofed around. At the age of 26 I got serious and I'm able to foster my way through college. I am taking a diploma program that is 8 weeks and in 3 to 4 years I'll be finished with ny bachelor's. I have had serious bouts of depression and I lost my brother in 2012. I am now 27 and I feel like a d failure because I'm jobless, my mother and I share a home, and I feel like a failure at life........I recently broke up with my ex because of his lies, cheating and general mistreatment of me. He feels he is better than me because he has a home and a good paying job as a truck driver......I feel less than nothing. I sometimes think of days to end my life. I try to thank God and count my blessings, but it seems he has also abandoned me.

You've actually made some good choices, you broke up with a guy that treated you like dirt and you are now focused on school. It will get better. It's OK to live with your Mom, I did for a long time, we shared the rent and bills, honestly it was better than some of the roommates I had to chose from. Focus on school and find some stuff you enjoy doing. Who cares what the ex boyfriend thinks, he's an ex for a reason, keep him out of your life. It will get better. God Bless!

I can relate to some of what you're going through. Living through hardship is a part of life, that's how we get things that are truly valuable. It may be tough now, but it'll be over one day, so keeping looking forward to when it is and continue with that in mind.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (kjv)
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.(esv)
