Yes Jesus will set you free. He sends you a helper. He will help you overcome sin, whatver sin it is. Have you confessed to Him and asked for forgiveness? well then He will forgive you.

The only thing is if you dont ask forgiveness He wont.
The thing people need the most help with isnt the confessing bit, its more the repenting. Thats where the holy spirit can help cos hes on the inside right?

Ask Him to cleanse your mind and to think lovely thoughts. Its no good beating yourself up.
