Won't you join me for a Month of Thankfulness?

Thank you Lord Jesus for letting me hear the angels singing.

Thank you Lord Jesus for showing me that I should hold my tongue most of the time.

Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me the strength to turn the other cheek.

Thank you Lord Jesus for my trials, troubles and testing. You have shown me that you are an ever present comfort and protection from the troubles of this world. I have learned more in the valley that I ever could have learned on the mountain top.

Thank you Lord Jesus for showing me that my words have power and should be chosen carefully.

Matthew 6:28) And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 .) And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 .) Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 .) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 .) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek, for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 .) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 .) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

James 1:16) Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17 .) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 18 .) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 19 .) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 .) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Thank you Lord that I only have two cheeks........and that others laugh with me when I laugh......and that one day I will be singing with the angels.......and the wisdom to know that it is through the trials of life that my faith is strengthened.

Thank you Lord Jesus for not sparing me from the rod of correction.

Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me the courage to speak the words you have put into my heart.

Thank You Father Lord for this day, and for the fellowship of my brothers and sisters................

Thank you Lord Jesus for teaching me what it means to reap as I have sown.

Thank you Lord Jesus for showing me it is better to serve than to be served.

Thank You Father God for having given Your Son who reaped what I had sown, and took upon Himself the punishment I deserved, and allowed me to be worthy to be called Your child.

Thank you Lord Jesus for sending me where I am needed to give others comfort and encouragement. Thank you for sending others to me when I am unable to go to them. Thank you for giving me the ability to sense their pain and words they need to hear.

Lord Jesus, this morning I am so thankful for so many things. I do not have the words to explain or express the thankfulness that is in my heart and spirit. I wish that I could explain such a feeling.

Romans 8:26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 .) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Praise God this day

Thank you Lord Jesus for showing me that I can be content with such as I have and not to strive for the material wealth of this world. Thank you for showing me that coveting can cause me to commit every other sin know to man.

Thank you Lord Jesus showing me mercy so that I will know how and when to show mercy to others.

Luke 6:35) But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil 36 .) Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Praise God for His bountiful Mercy and Grace!
