enliven - indeed! I like the cut of your jib, young fella me lad! With swords drawn shall we slash and cut this tentacled monster back into the deep from whence it came, a tentacle-less shadow of its former formidability!

I trust you will not be too alarmed if use a more palatable likeness for times when I'm not in battle? For to see, the Whangdoodles have many allies, alas, even amongst our own kind!

improve (Well, I must say the chieftess feels much better! Your arrival has given her an awakened desire to continue with this mission!

Your clever description makes me feel very jovial! It's like medicine to the sad heart. I hope that you will use whatever likeness you require for your preservation!)

modernize (Thank you most kindly. That mission can't possibly be successful without masterly skills! We have much catching up to do, but being experts in the field of Whangdoodling we no doubt have it in the bag.)

contemporize - you are most welcome. I think the bag is probably one of the safest places for the tentacles left over from a hard day's (or a night's - depending on one's timezone) Whangdoodling, so I can understand your emphasis on ensuring masterly skills in one's shipmates. Especially when detentacling these seafaring Whangdoodles. Just make sure the bag is Whangdoodle-tentacle poison-barb proof, and ideally, refrigerated, if we're going to make a modest profit selling these at the nearest fish market in the morning...

arrange (I see you are already getting the hang of this game and got me looking up words ;)
And it sounds like you are already a master at this mission! I'll be sure to have some bags formulated to withstand Whangdoodle-tentacle poison barbs. And refrigeration too? I'll at least make sure the bags are are made of that same material as insulated freezer bags. It also sounds like I need to come up with an antivenom for the Whangdoodle-tentacle poison barbs in case anyone is inflicted!)

schematize - lol. Hardly. I simply picked a word I knew and added "ize" to the end... Seems I got lucky that time? :p Coming up with an antivenom for Whangdoodle-tentacle poison barbs seems like an excellent idea. I've heard that vinegar can be helpful, but who takes a bottle of vinegar with him when he's sailing the seven seas in search of aquatic Whangdoodles to detentaclize?

enumerate (detentaclize? I like your dictionary lol. Maybe we should have a tanker full of vinegar! Yesterday was Thanksgiving. I cooked an irresistible meal for the Whangdoodles and had the chemist come up with something to add to the meal that would cause the Whangdoodles to explode. All the food was sent out to them on a ship. We watched from afar as they partied and ate. Then eventually, Whangdoodles of explosions! So, we can be thankful that a portion of them are gone, at least! That certainly detentaclized them. It was all in the pie!)

itemize - lol. I did look for the word "de-tentaclize", and to my great disappointment, it wasn't a word found in most dictionaries. So like you say, I had to use my own. I think a tanker full of vinegar is a very good idea! Full strength, as some of the poison barbs on these Whangdoodles can make one say things that would make even a seasoned sailor blush.

Last night, I was out fishing in Whangdoodle-infested waters, and I heard a large bang - or possibly, a series of bangs in quick succession - and out of nowhere, all manner of freshly harvested Whangdoodle tentacles came floating to the surface. I didn't ask questions, but quickly collected them for sale at the local seafood markets in the morning... Now I at least know the source of my good fortune. My sincere thanks to your excellent Whangdoodling efforts and to your chemist - your methods detentaclized those Whangdoodles for sure! A Whangdoodle detentaclizing pie! :)

catalog (It's okay, I like the Commodore Teach dictionary of words!

"Say things that would make even a seasoned sailor blush" LoL. I'm not sure whether to give you a ribbon, laughter, or a heart!

Yes, I'd heard my cooking is hard to beat. So, I got the idea that the Whangdoodles probably wouldn't be able to resist a smorgasbord of delicious food coming their way. They could hardly wait to get to the pies. Those pies packed a powerful punch...and powerful Whangdoodle explosions! It was like Thanksgiving and Independence Day all in one day! And I'm glad it resulted in you having good fortune. You certainly deserve that and all of detentaclizing smashingness!)

register - lol. Thanks! You certainly know your Whangdoodles! It was the fastest day's harvesting I've had in a long time. Normally, one has to either rely on one's cutlass, or one's detentaclizing pliers, and as I'm sure you've experienced, either option causes all manner of resistance and consternation in the harvest Whangdoodles. So this was a good day for once - as you say - like Thanksgiving and Independence Day all in one, to a series of colourful explosions and detentaclizing smashingness - and I didn't even nearly get eaten! Thank you for being so smashing! :p

inventory (It was one glorious day of victory indeed! The skies was full of the craziest colour schemes from Whangdoodles exploding that we've ever seen. I do hope it didn't contaminate the air. I wonder if we should have a huge hose (like fire trucks use) to spray vinegar all over ground zero of the Whangdoodle explosions. Then we'll start planning our next Whangdoodle defenestration mission!
Thank you also for being truly smashing! Maybe we can celebrate with some of my homemade pie...I promise this one won't cause us to explode!)

cache - amazing! The glorious colours and the victory music! And where was the music coming from? But you are right about contamination!!!:eek::eek: *clutches throat nervously* All that Whangdoodle-dust we must've been breathing in. We're most assuredly contaminated by now. I think we had better drink some vinegar right away! And deploy your aforementioned fire-hoses (loaded with vinegar, of course!), before any of the pestilence can spread... Oh - I presume defenestration will be a little easier now, if the Whangdoodles have already been detentaclized? They tend to be less aggressive and resistant to defenestration once they've been detentaclized, so achieving the defenestration quota this week will hopefully go quite smoothly.

I will definitely celebrate with some of your homemade pie, although I am trusting that it won't make us explode!!!

stockpile (Good thing we got an extra tanker of vinegar right before the smashing display of colourful exploding Whangdoodles! We will spray a layer of it all over the area. And then go over it a few times.
Maybe I can make some healing pies to get us all better again? I put lots of smashingness into my pies, surely smashingness will help us be well!
A band was hired at the last minute. We'll keep them around to play a more softer arrangement of music while we enjoy our healing pies of deliciousness, wellness, and smashingness.)

hoard - excellent plan. Are you a sailor, CarriePie, or you're just following the orders of the well-organised Chieftess or Master? The band you hired was an excellent touch. Y'see, a boat load of the ugliest, nastiest, most purple-haired women (at least I think they were women) you ever did see were just on the horizon over my starboard bow, and had clearly been banking on the victory of the Whangdoodles. They had started all manner of insane cackling, cursing and shrieking when the Whangdoodle tentacles started surfacing, and some of them had even started to shave their heads, while still others had their mobile smart phones out - I presume to record something to later post on social media.

Anyhoo, as the terrible screaming and wailing of these obnoxious creatures started to reach me over the waters, I thought I would go deaf, or at the very least, mad, when the beautiful music of the band started to drown out those terrible crones. I owe you a thankyou for possibly saving my sanity - if not my life - and look forward to hearing a softer arrangement when we enjoy our healing pies of deliciousness, wellness, and smashingness. :)

accumulation (I follow the orders of the master, of course! I think that's most wise to do, especially when there are a boat load of cackling "women" on the horizon. Good grief, I thought the Whangdoodles were horrendous! That's a much more ghastly foe!

Maybe I should have vinegar sprayed all over the ghastly cackling hoard? As it sounds like a worse contamination!!

I'm elated to hear that your sanity and life have been spared! I'd been beside myself if the opposite were the case! I feel you deserve the 5 star 4 course meal! You'll never be the same again! But, in a good way ;) )

assemblage - alas me hearty, I fear we will need a stronger formula for these foul crones. Please have your chemist increase the vinegar concentration to full strength. 'Tis the only thing 'twill be able to penetrate such thick, wart-calloused hides.

Let us now retreat to the Captain's quarters to enjoy that 5 star, 4 course meal, while the wicked witches and their ill-fated vessel melt into the sea.

cluster (I am in communication with the chemist right now! Also the workers are getting better spraying hoses, ones that offer a wider and thicker coverage of the area. We might need to deploy aircraft to cover the area too.

It sounds like the most smashing victory meal we'll ever enjoy! Our celebration will be had annually as we remember the ghastly witches that were melting, melting, melting... )

fruit - and that, my dear CarriePie, is how we stop the Whangdoodles from singing. Did you hear the sudden silence across Whangdoodlia, as those evil witches melted into the sea? The planes were a masterful-touch - please convey my utmost respect to your master for his excellent strategy.

Sure, the Whangdoodles might have picked up their singing by the time of our next adventure, but all I hear from them now is a dread silence - and maybe a groan or sob? Heretofore shall we remember this day as a day of thanksgiving, when the heroic CarriePie and a small band of chemists, pilots and musicians melted a colony of ghoul-witches into the ocean and saved the hearing and/or sanity of one of the ocean's greatest legends 'ere forgotten! :)

sweet (I can't tell you how much your last entry has filled my heart with elation. The Silence of the Whangdoodles! [That'll be a new film that will be made about the events that took place.]

I feel today has been such a smashing day in many ways. An incomparable display of victory!

Thank you for all the cleverness, wisdom, elation and brilliance you've added in such a masterly fashion. The Whangdoodles are silent, but the Chieftess's heart is singing!)
