You know your old when Charles was your babysitter.

when you would watch television shows with your mother as a child that she watched when she grew up and you heard all about it from your mother how she use to watch a show as a child, and tellng you how fast time goes by.. then you see that show on and hear the theme song, and it just hits you even harder how fast time goes that its a even deeper pain to your soul...

true story, lavern and shirley... i use to watch that with my mother when i was about 5-7 years old.. my mother was the same age i am now.. i remember like it was yesterday... she would tell me how she grew up watching that show when she was my age (at that time).. and a few weeks ago i woke up and the tv was still on, it was about 230 in the AM... i wake up to the Lavern & Shirley theme music... im sitting there just gaining my conscious back, it was the end of a episode, i hear the voices and it brings back memories... still gaining my conscious back, eyes still closed, then the theme song comes on at the end of the episode like a minute later.... i about cried thinking how fast time goes as my daughter was sleeping right by me.. thinking about how at the same age i was when this happened just a few weeks ago, my mother was when we use to watch it together and she would tell me about her childhood.. so many emotions came over me.. i had to get up and change the channel.. i think i put NBATV on or something lol.

this is a depressing subject. at least for me it is. and im only 26 in a couple weeks.. and that sounds crazy to me.. cant believe im about to be 26 on the 31st. just crazy.

if i learned anything so far, i learned that there is no way of knowing where life will take you.. not today.. not tomorrow, not next week.. only the driver knows.. and the driver is GOD! amen.

You know you're mentally young when video games are the first thing on your mind.

when your barber takes more time shaving the hair in your ears that he does the hair on your head

... when you begin half of your sentences about animated media with "kids these days..."

When many people call you "SEÑOR", respecfully, giving you their seat.

When the doctor asked you to take pills and each has a different color, you don´t know what for.

When you need more than one pair of glasses. When you see you need a heater to get your shower warm at midday (I don´t use it, but I have seen my mother often drinks hot coffee in the early mornig to keep herself warm, to go back to her bed).

When all the things your parents and grandparents said, begins to make sence.

Just to clearify!

I´m not taking pills (I thank GOD for being healthy) the only thing I know as being ill is two sores I got from a mosquito who gave me leishmaniasis. That´s the medical treatment I´m receiving at my mother´s.

Once I get my leg "cleaned" I´ll be back to my mountain.

When one minute you are walking whilst eating a bowl of food and the next minute you are asking everyone in the house to help you look for your food...(happened to my family member, it was hilarious!)
