I suffer from dry mouth, eyes, skin, all is always a battle but have had some success. :)
I was wondering if any here had any ideas for cracking fingers, mainly around the fingernail?
Have tried several things, the lastest moisterizing hands then wearing gloves.....
Did not work so well as I had a bad reaction to the gloves. :(
So I would be greatful for any new ideas, as the cracks are getting worse.
Please keep in mind I have very sensitive skin.

Thankyou all so much! :)

God bless

Bag Balm. It's a treatment used to help protect and heal cow's teets. I know, it sounds crazy. But it fights eczema, heals burns with creepy speed, and treats all kinds of dry, cracked, and unhappy skin.Amazon.com: Bag-Balm, Vermonts Original Moisturizing & Softening Ointment - 10 Oz: Health & Personal Care I've also bought it at Wal-Mart and target. Depending on where you live, it's often in the pet section. It's for more than just pets. :)
Thats right, :) I had forgotten about bagbalm, I used it when my children were babies, worked great in preventing diaper rash. :)
They sell it in our local market, Ill pick some up, thankyou Missrose,:) for the reminder!!! :)
It is great stuff. :)

God bless

Beeswax or coconut oil might be some things to try. The more natural the better imo

i don't know how much this might work, but our feet is very sensitive as well as our hands. So try to be in some covered footwear like boots in cold and dry environment. It's also good in snow times even if its in interior..
This may not help,just suggesting:)

I make my own. It works so well that my dermatologist bought some from me, but my source for borage oil is gone, and good luck finding it. Borage oil is the very best oil for healing and softening. I buy dried calendula flowers and soak them in oil for two weeks. Next batch I make, I will use the calendula essential oil, and use Vitamin C powder. Also add a little Vitamin E oil. I didn't measure the beeswax, I used this to make it the right consistency.

1 ounce beeswax
¼ cup calendula Flower Oil
1 cup Borage Seed Oil
2 large pills Vitamin C

Here is the reason that science says my skin cream using borage oil has helped so much: (copy and paste) "Borage oil can help the skin look its best by supplying gamma linolenic acid, an important molecule for maintaining radiant skin. Borage flowers have been used since the 1500s in Europe, where they are used for their healing and soothing affects. In 1985, the United States began growing large quantities of borage plants for its seed oil, which is abundant in gamma linolenic acid.

Borage oil is derived from the seeds of the blue, star-shaped borage flowers. The seed oil has high amounts of gamma linolenic acid. Gamma linolenic acid is an essential fatty acid found in many vegetable oils. Borage oil is 24 percent gamma linolenic acid, making it a rich natural source of this essential nutrient. Taking borage oil supplement can benefit the skin by supplying the body with gamma linolenic acid, a substance that has been found to improve dry skin and many chronic skin disorders."

There are other sources of GLA that makes borage oil work, but they are not as good. Evening Primrose Oil, Hemp Oil, and Black Current Oil are other sources. For some people Black Current Oil can cause liver damage.

Some people take this internally as a supplement and the oil can be easily found as a softgel. It seems to me that applying it to the skin is the best, not adding it to pills we take. It is expensive, but a lot less than a visit to a physician and frankly, I found it was a lot more effective.

Yes have been doing this, but its the eyes and mouth that are the most frustraiting, and dont know if vasiline is good for that.
Dr did recently give me some ideas as well, and they have been helping.
I just wonder if there is something that will stimulate the body to increase moisture for eyes and mouth?

Thankyou and God bless

This might be a longshot, Pickles. I’ve read vitamin E is good for the skin. I started taking a half tablespoon of wheat germ oil a while ago because I noticed I wasn’t getting enough vitamin E, and wheat germ oil is the only easy way I could find to get it into my diet. (A tablespoon gives you 100% of your daily requirement and 120 calories. It doesn’t taste too bad.)
