Until you're in a position where you deform into a cripple without it, begin to die, or have some terrible condition getting much worse AFTER religiously trying all of the Christian healing and natural allopathic medicine you'll never understand. Those things are good and they do work to the extent they work but not everyone gets healed and there are many conditions that allopathic medicine cannot cure nor control. But you're entitled to your opinion even when it's wrong. So carry on if you like.
Of course, if you don't believe in miracles from above, and you believe so called " science " has a cure for everything, that's not surprising you wrote what you wrote. After all, the king Asa got a terrible foot disease and instead of turning to God to get healed, he turned to limited human knowledge, and he died in atrocious sufferings because he didn't trust God !

And about allopathic medicine, I'm not totally against it, but I believe the terrible side effects of some cures should be avoided at all cost. And the sooner the better. Humans should not rely on their limited knowledge only. What do you do when you get a terrible disease no cure on earth could heal and the Lord is the only one who could heal you ?

Would you do like king Asa and die in atrocious sufferings because humans couldn't heal you ?

Humans are dust, God is your Creator ! You pick your side.

For me, everything happens for a reason. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

In an ever-changing world, we cannot control things. Mutation of bacteria and other microorganisms happen and that causes resistance to specific antibitotics. I agree that synthetic antibiotics should be taken only as necessary. The good thing about these drugs is that they are proven and tested. Therefore, they treat but possible side effects are expected. The bad thing is that these drugs may outweigh the therapeutic effect. However, when we take alternative medicines, most of them are still under clinical trials. Not because they are "natural" they can give "positive" effect always. Their dosages and components should be studied correctly also. Either ways have "therapeutic" and "side" effects.

Back to my stand, everything happens for a reason. If a person have acquired communicable disease, it's a consequence of his/her action that God permitted to happen purposefully. In the end, we are but just a sojourners in this world. No matter how much we take care of ourselves (that we tend to focus to ourselves), if God will say "You're time has come" we can't do anything. All we need is to be always prepared to meet our Creator and our Savior. :)

I do believe in supernatural healing. But there's plenty of sick, crippled, and dying Christians around who believe in it, seek it, and don't receive it that makes your assertion that we don't need modern medicine because everyone gets healed who needs to be healed a blatantly false assertion that is observably false of yours.

Grow up.

Our use of pills to cure everything is part of our turning from God. People say they can just take a pill, it is simple, when turning to God's way would work better.

Medicine is wonderful, not using all it has discovered would not be good at all. It is like everything from God, there is balance.

I wrote out the diet I worked out for myself, based on how God made food, and passed it by my doctor. He said he wished he could convince all his patients to use it (my doctor isn't a Christian) for that is how the body works best. As he was writing out a prescription for my tremor, I asked him what the negatives were for the medicine he was prescribing. He said "I call it Zombie pills". We agreed that it was better I put up with my hands shaking. It was the same when I and my orthopedic physician worked with my back after a backlash accident. He was so used to patients not asking about the medication he prescribed, he was simply writing it out. When we discussed each possible pill, it was decided that my way of handling it through stretching, exercise, and pain control methods would work much better.

I have cured myself of a pre-diabetic condition and severe eczema by searching for what is known about how the body works instead of using pills. At the same time, I take a pill every single day to make up for the thyroid my body needs but my thyroid gland stopped producing.

Lots of doctors are simply disgusted with their patients, knowing they want the easy way out, so they give it to them. They don't tell them of the best way to handle their problem because most patients haven't the spiritual strength or the discipline to follow it.

AncientBiotics - a medieval remedy for modern day superbugs? - The University of Nottingham

"A one thousand year old Anglo-Saxon remedy for eye infections which originates from a manuscript in the British Library has been found to kill the modern-day superbug MRSA in an unusual research collaboration at The University of Nottingham."

"The recipe calls for two species of Allium (garlic and onion or leek), wine and oxgall (bile from a cow’s stomach). It describes a very specific method of making the topical solution including the use of a brass vessel to brew it in, a straining to purify it and an instruction to leave the mixture for nine days before use."

Scientists are studying (again) the benefits of ancient remedies. Here is one example of an ancient remedy being found to cure MRSA which is resistant to antibiotics, as well as other infections....

I am so thankful for our family doctor. He knows I prefer to learn about diet changes and other means before just popping a pill for ailments, and he allows for it, but also gives me sort of a time limit to try and change things before REQUESTING that I try things with medicine. He knows I don't bring the kids in unless I have exhausted my remedies, and that I usually already know what their problem is, and just out of options, and he respects that about us. He knows I will ask questions about the risks of medicines and their benefits, won't always choose to take the prescribed medicines, and he respects that in us. He knows I will ask him questions that stump him sometimes, but he always finds me the best answer in his opinions and knowledge, and he respects that in us. God truly blessed us with this man.
