Interesting, I just looked it up. Never heard of it before. I wonder if certain soaps/lotions/perfumes might aggravate it?

All physical ailments have a start in emotional problems. You can keep treating it until you find the reason your body has been acting up. I suggest taking a deep look inside yourself for the answer.

I usually have my mobile next to my pillow when going to bed, use that for my alarm at times...may be I should quit doing that...thanks sir...
If your mobile works a GSM system it produces more radiation than those that work on CDMA cells.

If your neighbourhood has more cells (or a nickel mine) that problem cuold be increased (I guess)

I have a skin disorder that is different from yours. A doctor told me it was eczema. At any time, for no reason at all, big red patches of bright red skin appears, then tiny sores. It felt like a hot iron on my skin both burning me and making it itch. Nothing I tried worked to help. My GP sent me to specialist after specialist. It was so bad it sometimes kept me awake all night long.

I decided to use biofeedback on the outbreaks. I had studied it to use for my pain from arthritis.

I had a spastic muscle once, and went to a physical therapist. When I mentioned biofeedback the therapist said a salesman left a funny little machine with him once, calling it a biofeedback machine. We got out the directions, plugged it in and attached a probe to my spastic muscle. The little box started a loud clicking, the directions said I could control the clicking and it would stop when the muscle relaxed.

What I did to control the clicks is hard to explain, but perhaps it is best explained by putting God's desire for our well being around the muscle would best explain. Within 15 minutes the muscle was quiet and it has never gone in spasm again.

I decided to use what this little machine had me use on the muscle on my red patches. I used the tip of my finger to direct this well being feeling. I can now control the eczema this way. All my sores have healed. It is a miracle. There is a possibility it could work for you, too.

I have searched the net for a machine to help. The net has some for thousands of dollars, requiring long training to use it, and they have a little one for $12, with all prices between. All that tells me is that there are lots of things I don't know about buying a machine. I find nothing like the little one the physical therapist had, and that guy left town.

Does anyone here know anything about these machines? I am making the principle of biofeedback work, but a machine would surely help.

An article on the Mayo Clinic's website stated that dermographia can be triggered in some people by infections, emotional upset or medications such as penicillin. (Could other antibiotics be a trigger as well?)

Also have you been tested for food or environmental allergies? Allergies to gluten, white flour, wheat, eggs, peanut butter etc. are all common allergens that trigger skin problems.

Some of the underlying causes of a skin problem I have had, were medications, some supplements, but definitely the biggest contributor to my outbreaks (very red, patchy skin) was my diet.

Coffee, tea, soda or any kind of diet soda, sugar, sugary foods, and chocolate were all contributors to some extent. Adding fresh vegetables, some fresh fruits, coconut oil (both topically and internally) plus a fish/primrose/and borage oil capsule to my daily routine has helped clear up the problem.

However, of all the things I have used topically, coconut oil has been the absolute best product.

It is inexpensive, (usually found in the vitamin section of stores like Wal-Mart, but can be purchased online.) I use Spring Valley Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil - $10 - $12 dollars for 12 oz. I apply it topically in the morning, evening and more often if necessary.

Coconut oil is a solid by the way, unless the temperature gets into the 70s, then it will melt back into an oil. It is antibacterial and antifungal and has not yet caused me to break out. I take about a tsp. internally per day but it's best to check with a doctor before you make any major changes in your diet.

Regarding the cell phone -There are a lot of studies out there about cell phone radiation being linked or not linked to cancer or other problems. I've seen support for both sides of the coin, but why take a chance?

Hope that helps!

By 1988 I knew Pemon indians, in Venezuela, often used it as mosquitos repelant... But I liked it a lot for the perfume it gives (unless too old).
