2Kings20:1-6
3) "Remember now, O Lord, I beseech Thee, how I have walked before Thee in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Thy sight." And wept bitterly.
5) And it came about before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
4) "Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
6) "And I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake,"’"
(2 Kings 20:1-6).

Hi Lynn, Chemo worked for me too, the best worst thing I have ever done. It kills the cancer but the side effects are terrible. I am almost 6yrs into treatment for prostate cancer caused by "agent orange" in Vietnam. I read an article from Pastor John Piper on the internet called, "Don't Waste Your Cancer.", it has had a very positive effect on my Christian life so that you may want to pass this information on to your husband if you like. Pastor John Piper also has prostate cancer.

God leading the way my wife and I pray He will add 15yrs to my life as He did for Hezekiah.

Joi, (a woman on this site), shared that same article when she returned from radiation treatment. The radiation worked too, despite the horrible side effects she had to go through.

One of the best articles I've read... ever! On anything!!!

Thats good your husband made it through, of coarse it works but there are not a lot who do, especially in the latter stages.

(NaturalHealth365) There has been an ongoing debate about the effectiveness of chemotherapy drugs for cancer patients as well as their effect on cancer survival rates. However, American and Australian studies have shown that cancer survival rates after receiving chemotherapy can be as startlingly low as 2.1%.

These studies took a 5-year look at cancer survival rates in cancer patients who received chemotherapy. The overall contribution of chemotherapy to 5-year survival was found to be just 2.1% for cancer patients in the U.S. and 2.3% for patients in Australia. While the 5-year cancer survival rate for Australian cancer patients is at this time more than 60%, these studies have shown that the use of chemotherapy makes a negligible contribution.
Revealing the negative side effects of chemotherapy versus health benefits

The side effects of chemotherapy and negative impact upon health comprise a very long list. These ill health effects include vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation, bladder issues, bleeding, anemia, bruising, hair loss, edema, infections, lymphedema, neutropenia, nerve issues, mouth and throat issues, fertility problems and ongoing physical pain. Those who undergo chemotherapy also report ongoing fatigue, memory issues, difficultly in concentrating, insomnia and sexual issues.
Furthermore, the use of chemotherapy drugs with clients experiencing end-stage cancers worsens their quality of life while providing no overall survival benefits, according to a study published in JAMA Oncology. With such a poor effectiveness rate along with horrible side effects, these harsh and harmful chemicals are clearly not worth the risks.
Gee, a website selling alternative supplements believes chemotherapy is bad for you, but their chemicals are good for you?

Who'da thunk?

Yeah. Sorry. I was a marketer and trained in how to lie was statistics. (Actually had a book with that title as one of my textbooks in college. lol)

Sorry, but I'm not standard-issue on this forum. I'm not one of those people who think the medical field is out to kill people but supplement "scientists" are trustworthy.

I have a brain, and it can tell the difference between indoctrination and reality.

I assume the same thing for those who have to decide what to do now that they heard they have a disease that is likely to kill them. And, Lord help them, if they take most of the "expert advice" on this forum as gospel.

This cut and paste article, (NaturalHealth365), is misleading people who may benefit from chemotherapy. Today's Oncologist's are well trained to work closely with patients and to formulate the best options for treating cancer, chemotherapy is just one. You are doing a disservice to cancer survivor's on an international forum by posting this nonsense. You have no reference's to prove that, NaturalHealth365, actually works, and just leave us a link to their product website.

First off, I would like to say my heart goes out to anyone who is or has a loved one that is suffering from cancer. In in 2006 my uncle passed away from cancer. His doctors advised against chemo because they said it wouldn’t work. He chose to take chemo anyhow and it seemed to just decrease his quality of living…he was really sick the whole time.

I wished that he had known about other options such as the ketogenic diet, or carrot juice, or any other natural remedies because that may have been an option for him instead of chemo since even his doctors had advised against it.

I’m in no way advising anyone not to take chemo and I don’t think anyone on this thread has done so…just looks like they were offering different options. I think it’s always good to have various options, getting second and maybe even third opinions from doctors, and I wouldn’t see any harm in adding supplements or natural remedies to an anti-cancer regimen. But yeah people should consult their health care team and research options for themselves.
