Btw: it's taken a couple weeks to get going but I am proud to say that I got a WONDERFUL 3 mile walk in yesterday and today! (my legs are throbbing, I could've gone farther if I had time) Beautiful trail surrounded by trees, just me and the Lord and our music,(and a few people passing by.

Yeah, I forget to update here now cuz I've been talking it over in the ladies room
Lets see, I've had a walk almost everyday this week since last Thursday when I started (except Sunday when I was sick).
Mostly water, although 7up and Root Beer are in the house and I sometimes get some. I have to remember the sugar is there to, but for me Cherry Pepsi was almost an addiction so I REALLY NEED to stay away from THAT, other stuff I can "handle". The Cherry pepsi is what my body craves.
ummm...... what else?

I did ok here, not too much bad stuff consumed, a little exercise bike
usage with my new ankle weights, I need to use my muscles on the up stroke and the weights will help me focus on that, no toe clips on an Schwinn Airdyne, although I might get creative and make something, that would be a help to get the quadriceps more involved.

that sounds great. It's pouring here, so no walk......... and I don't think I'll get it in this weekend either, bit I'm ok with that, lol. Looking forward to doing it next week. Sometimes when no ones home, (we're in a 2 story home).... I'll do EXACTLY what I tell the kids NOT TO and RUN up and down the stairs (I think the quote is "do as I say, not as I do....." when your not home.........)
