I am going to check out the KeyBiotucs. Thanks.
Yes, the progurt seems to be more expensive. But when you break it down, it is actually the same price if not maybe cheaper then most probiotics. You do not take it everyday. In the beginning you take it 3x a week for three weeks.
Then after that 2x a week for 2 weeks.
Then once every 5 or 6 days.

By the way Blue, if you are eating the right foods in the correct combinations you do not need to take probiotics everyday.
They do colonize you know.
Especially if your routinely eating a good brand sauerkraut. SK is loaded with probitics, as well as Kombucha.

Part of your problem is that your taking ibuprfen. That is wrecking your internal flora balance.

I looked at several yesterday. LOL. Hard to keep them straight. Yes, that's the one I spoke of, but this one, the Elixa, has half a trillion CFU's.. Sorry for the mix-up. :) Here's the link:

Elixa Probiotic | Ultra High Strength Probiotic

As you can see, ALL the packs they offer are sold out..

Is this it?
Whole Body Research Keybiotics

and this on AMAZON

https://www.amazon.com/Whole-Body-R...EI&linkCode=xm2&psc=1&tag=shopperz_origin2-20

It says it is sold as you said. It says it is 37.5 billion CFU's.

Bio-K is also a good brand.
It comes with 3 bases, milk, soy and brown rice.
I have used the one with the brown rice base.
This may sound weird, but before I used it I took a minuscule amount of E. coli and had my stool tested. I know a doctor that cooperated with me as to having the tests done.
Then I took the Bio-K for two days, 2x a day, and then had the E. coli levels tested again, and the test showed no more unusual levels of E. coli.

But I will never do that again. Once was enough for me to prove that a good brand of probiotic will help stave off E.coli infection.

Joseph, I checked out the progurt. They're too expensive for me, but I found one called KeyBiotics and they are currently offering a deal on them but when I checked the site again yesterday, they are sold out of EVERYTHING!! That must be a very high demand product..

Anyhoo, I did some research about how many CFU's a person who takes a probiotic every day would need, and the recommended is between 5-45 billion. Puritan's highest probiotic is 50 billion, so I'm going to order that next month. The vitamins I ordered just got here a minute ago, so now I have the valerian root, tart cherry turmeric complex and a glucosamine chondrotin supplement..

I went online today and ordered some Resveratrol, 250 mg capsules.. Those will be here week after next.

I went and looked for the one that I thought said 2 trillion, but it was 2 billion instead.. Stupid poor eyesight.. lol
Hiblue,
I dont know if u have tried kefir, and i have and its not the best tasting of course, but it is said to have abt/up to 35 strains of good bacteria. I only remember it said somewhere that unlike yogurt wc has 5 strains, for example, u need to take daily to replenish what was lost, but this stays on in the gut and u dont need to take kefir daily. Dont think that would be too expensive there, and it can easily be made, they say, and i couldnt finish 1 liter in 2 wks as its flavor was quite strong unlike yogurt. But u may want to try.

I just remembered this too Blue. Your not going to like it, but can you stand taking the Blue Green algae in even a capsule form? The liquid is better though. Could you mix the liquid form of it in apple juice or something?
It is really dynamic and also would help with inflammation and would help with other body healing that will free up that energy to divert more of it to help with your pain and reduce inflammation.

Remember the body is holistic, nothing functions in a vacuum.
Improve one or two things that may not even be directly related to the major issue, it still has a cascade effect.

Of course it is just about impossible to quantify how much it would improve. It could be 5% or 25% or more.
My view is that even a 5% improvement with the additional benefit of improving other body functions (like immune system for one) is worth it, especially if there are no harmful side effects, which there are not with almost most "natural" products, outside of some herbs and a few other other compounds.
Blue green algae like spirulina? They are available in caps also, right? They are like the larger fresh seaweeds we have a lot of here, an archipelago, are they not?

Is it the no. of CFu's that really matters, that the more the better? The strains? How about how long the fermentation process took place?
I asked the latter esp because theres a japanese brand of probiotics recommended by a doc here, wc takes 3 yrs to ferment, he said. I dont understand all the whys, but there is a reason of course. I only wish i could take as recommended.

Mostly I am referring to E3Live. A blue green lake algae.

I like this formula better then the first one.
Was it the same amount of money(?), Mg for Mg., or capsule for capsule, or oz for oz...however they quantify it...
