I don´t pay too muchattention to the seasons. I seldom eat pork or blood (like morcilla)but I did it few days ago, when I was with my mother and one of mybrothers.

Recently I went to workat one of my friends (this week) and his wife served us something the eat for the X-masseason (Hallacas) and I don´t eat it too much, compared to thosedays my grandma or dad were alive.

I´m aware that age and laziness will help to gain more weight, so I´d better control what Ieat, but now my mother left an “arepa” over the cook and, after asking her, I ate with creamy peanut butter (I thing God knows mom and I equally like).

Many people is unwilling to watch their mouth and what they eat. I was fat when a teenager and I have to avoid overeating, just to avoid its problems...

While I came back to Ccs I just saw this woman (below), and I surely know some things I will not mention.

Anything Italian!

And refuse to eat anything from the pig. The shrimp is no better to me even though it's pretty popular out here in the southeast. No way! Sorry shrimp!

Hi!

Here´s my friend and writer... Yes! I try to avoid pigs, but those "hallacas" you saw have it (during this season) and it isn´t easy to tell them: I´m in favor of Jewish dishes... (I don´t want to be stoned). He! He! :)

Hopefully I have bananas trees at my piece of land. I wish I could make some apples tree grow in my field, and a wine tree too (I got some seeds yet)

food to be honest is one thing I have considered a burden. crazy but true! don't really fuss much about food in the sense that ill be drawn to eat mostly when my muscles start screaming weeeak!!!...and you are prone to feel like that when you find youre self frequently fasting. so if you ask me what i like to eat, il simply give the categories...
1. anything i wont have to close my eyes too before i put it in my mouth.
2. anything that wont damage my gullet on its way down.
3. anything edible but not audible.
4. anything commonly accepted as food...nothing freaky...
5. anything that will stay down once it gets down..
and any other important category i missed out.

and if there will be food in heaven, i hope it will be optional...

Ha! Ha! That snake is too big for my taste and it was intentionally place to help us see who we are...

That was a mapanare (one of the Bothrops family). It tasted like fish, but I don´t think I need to trie any more snake. When I offer it to my neighbors they disbelieved it was real but, if I had to survive, I will kill another thing, instead.

ha! yeah i totally with your first sentence. i did a quick search on those things and all i gotta say is it was a good thing that the one on your plate was dead...

do you mean you would kill and eat another manapare to survive? and if that's the case; if you really are a hermit, then that day is not far from now...

so you just walked into where ever you ate that thing and just said "hey, do you have any poisonous snakes on the menu???"

I vote for that pizza!

But, do you have land to use those seeds of corn?

Rice needs too much water, as I have seen on documentals.

I had, those days, guns. Now I go unarmed and don´t like killing any thing. There was a day I had rabitts. I love them because they are like cats and eat much more, but there were more than I could care, so I started eating them and that made me feel soo sad: Growing an animal I love to kill them later? and, If I don´t, the guilt was the same if I sold them.

One day, while mowning bushes, the machine I had working hit a stuff. When I stopped I saw an snake that looked like a coral coral.jpg and, when I open it to see inside, that faked one had -inside- the poisonous one. Uff!

I don´t like them, althogh I had, for a season, a Boa. It´s name was Margarita and, the idea was to teach my child to love wild animals. When she grew up, I let her go in my piece of land, to be free and learn how her life could be.

Hermit? Not a real one, but enough to ask God I wish I found people like me, perhaps in heaven (I don´t know where).

I did a truly in depth study of the Old Testament with classes led by a guy who did it verse by verse, and tied it all into how Christ completed it. He pointed out what God had in mind for the Hebrews when he gave them rituals. I was intrigued.

One ritual I have enjoyed doing is the one where you stay away from eating an animal that ate garbage, as a symbol of not doing things like reading dirty books. I know, pigs don't eat garbage any more, but when I pass up the shrimp and bacon, what I am really doing is not the denying myself that food, but I am praising the Lord, and giving Him reverence.

I've been scolded for this, I've been told it is because I am weak, and told all scripture says about how it can be used wrong. I know God doesn't watch us for the food we eat. But it is a way of worship I am truly enjoying, I would hate to give it up.

guns?? well its a good thing i was never there to un-intentionally scare you in the bushes whilst you had your guns!!...sorry bout your rabbits, but more than you could have? how many were they? you seriously ate them?? wasn't it like eating your pets?? why didn't you let them go free like the boa. Speaking of boa, did you buy it or what? was that before the manapare because it could have made one big meal haha no offence...oh and i think i saw a cat on your profile, that's yours?

mmm...God was really with you because those coral snake things are bad news!! i hope your child now loves wild animals though...
aha i really thought you were a hermit cause that's what you said in the 'what inspired your user name' thread. oh and i do hope God helps you find people like you...where ever they are...(probably eating poisonous snakes right now!) haha!

"... I know, pigs don't eat garbage any more,..."

One of my friends, who wanted to be mayor, went to visit and preach to a state jail... Inside there is a pig that eat human bodys... Those parts prisoners mutilate and it serve to hid the evidence no one see.

I know it is not easy to be believed, but I have spoken to more people and I know some of the things Venezuela is facing...

We are going to be vegies, I believe that but, when I got lost -with a friend- in an island, we only ate watermelon and melon (few tomatoes) by 1988. So it took me years to repeat the eating of these things. Now I eat both things but, when I came back to civilitation, I avoided those fruits with all my heart.

Many people used Peter (Acts) to "explain" levitical prohibitions were banned. God never ate those sacrifices and the factual sacrifice was each man PAYING FOR THER COST, the price of each sacrifice he was ordered, acording to his sin.

I´m happy that His temple was torn when Jesus died: No more vistims or sacrifices needed, although we can see somewhat Jewish people were having pigs when jesus ent to Samaria. Peter had his chance to eat, when he was fasting on that roof...
