this cracks me up a bit. here's my philosophy on such things.
i love sleeping on my tummy, and i'd rather risk a few wrinkles for that pleasure.
from a young age, i watched my mom carefully sleep on her back so that she'd avoid risking any wrinkles. i don't think she ever took off her bra, except maybe the shower. all because it was supposed to help her stay young looking.
i think genetically-determined skin elasticity, water, and other stuff has far more to do with such things. not her goofy pink masques, sheep placenta cream (i think that's what it is???) and other regimens too complicated to list here.
i have a fairly simple, unremarkable skin routine, but when you hold my photo and my mother's picture up at the same age, our skin health is pretty much on point.
i guess it's all about your priorities, but i'm not sleeping with tape on my face. or sleeping on my back. but if it's working for you and you're pleased with the results, i think that's awesome!
me? i'm pretty happy with how my 42 year old skin is aging. if i'm due for wrinkles, it's going to be some major laugh lines, because i do that (not to mention have rather animated expressions) far more than it's recommended by my dermatologist.
on second thought, i might write down that duck tape thing... ; )
