Am having a problem that has been bothering my mind for the pass year and it seems to be getting me down sometimes, hope someone can help me to understand why and shed so light on it for me. I have be deceived and betrayed by two of the closes person to, my heart has been ripped apart and now am feeling I lost my passion and my fire that was inside me. It hurt so much that even though I pray that God heal my broken heart it jsut never felt the same way again. I felt as if I was been put in a vaccum cleaner and comes out shattered. It hurts so bad that its consuming me, the reason it hurt so much is beacause of the love and care I had in my heart for these people is beyond measure, I try to let go but this is the worse thing that could have ever happen to me in my entire life, only God knows the anguish and pain am in.

Teardrops, I'd like to say I do understand your pain. Here are some things that have helped me.
1. Pray for the person that has "wronged" you, even if the prayer is, "God here is JOE SMO". (this will insure that person won't be an obstical to your communication with God)
2. Know that God turns sorrow into joy!
3. Remember: Jeremiah 29:11 I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.
I think the trick is to give God the past and to give God your future... by doing this you have given God the hurt... He is kind and will heal the hurt.

Hello and welcome to CC. I am sorry to hear that you have a broken heart. God can heal you and your heart. He can also help you find foregiveness to those who have hurt you. I can relate to your pain as my wife of 12 years has suddenly told me she wants a divorce. And with 2 and 4 year old children I felt as though my world was coming to an end. While our marriage is still in question I am finding peace and joy growing closer to God. Please study His word and grow to rely on Him for all things.
