Good morning! I would love to chat! Single Momhood is definitely tough. I'm lucky, though, in the fact that my childrens' father and I put our kids first and try to work together, even though we're not under the same roof, to take care of what they need, which makes the situation so much easier.
One of my kids is 19, the other is 12, and they're both (too) self sufficient...I miss the times they used to need me more. Recently, for X-mas, my older child had plans to hang out with friends, and our 12 yr old went with Dad, so I was home, for the first time, without my family for the Holidays. The only thing that got me through and gave me comfort was the awareness that God was by my side.
How were your and your daughter's Holidays? Where are you from? I'm from Ohio. It's so cold here! About 17 degrees farenheit...

Yes, single mom is really a tough job. My marriage got annulled 2 years ago but we have been separated for 11 years now. I had to annull the marriage late cuz I thought we could still work it out. But I learned we're not meant for each other- God said so. My daughter, Alex is now 13 yrs old. I'm having struggles for the past months bec i'm jobless for over 6 months now. However, I thank God that he continually provide us for our daily needs. I keep praying that God blesses me a good paying job soon so I can raise Alex well.
I joined here so I can meet new friends and have someone to talk to. I'm happy you accepted me as your friend.
My daughter and I had a good Christmas together. I wish I got to know you earlier so we could chat even before Chrsitmas to give you company.
By the way I am from the Philippines and its kinda hot here.
