Hang in there, Zilla! I'm a school bus driver, but haven't been getting any hours lately for the past two weeks. I applied online for jobs as a work from home contractor/operator months ago, and after a very long process and waiting I finally got a job last week, thank God!

What are your skills? Maybe I can help you brainstorm or surf the web for something good???

i really dont have any, at least i dont think i do... the only skill i know I do have is the ability to encourage others, to help others, and to serve others... and that's all I really want to do, honestly: help and encourage others

Hmmmm...teaching? Boy's Club? a leadership role in churches in the area? what else...you know what? I volunteered (and still do) for the Children's Ministry in my Church, and they offered me a few hours a month as a paid employee working with their daycare...It's only about 12 hours a month, but every penny helps! Have you thought about building bridges and making contacts through volunteer work to get your foot in the door?

I hope I'm not prying...You didn't ask for my help, so I hope you don't mind if I give you my two cents... :)
