My name is Jessie, I'm 24, I've just become a new member of the site about a week ago.
I have been making some big changes over the past several months in the way I have been living my life . I lived pretty wild and now I am trying to learn just what it is that Christian do for fun, lol. I have grown up around the church my whole life but never developed a REAL relationship with Jesus until now. I have (had) many friends that don't know how to accept my new life and so, unfortunately, I have been cut out of their lives.
I've joined this site as a means of hopefully developing some friendships with other believers. It's hard to lose friends, but I know that I have made the right decision. The peace that comes with giving your life over is better than anything I was doing in my past. I'm attending an AMAZING tiny little church in my hometown, they've accepted me and have made me feel like I can really be an active member.
Anyway, I'm kinda shy but I LOVE meeting new people (how's that for contradiction?). I love dogs, not a big cat fan, moths freak me out, I write a lot, I sing, I'm a decent artist if I have nine months to finish a painting, football is the best sport on the planet (Go Bucks!), I read all the time, I work out like crazy (it's helped fill up the time instead of acting like a heathen) I'm a college graduate and going back for a second round, I'm a huge nerd, I laugh at everything...........I suppose there is more I could put here but that takes away some of the fun, doesn't it?
