Afternoon folks,
Just wanted to say hello from Estancia New Mexico. Thanks for the chance to join this chat & website, it's great to be able to communicate with other believers in CHRIST which is something I myself really need. I have been too long from fellowship of good folks. Guess you can say that I have been lazy about doing so. Little about me....
I came to know that Jesus was real when I was 8 years old but didn't approach HIM with the same intention as others. I came to HIM to ask to let me die. Live for me as a child was something to be desired as a kid growing up in Boston. Well, needless to say, He didn't allow me to die BUT did tell me that things would be better as time went on and that one day, HE would have something for me to do. Little did I know at the time that it would be almost 30 years later until we met and talked again and that was while I was in prison doing a 10 year sentence. Since then, amazing things have happened and continue to happen daily.
I'm now 56, have been out of prison for 22 years, have a wonderful family, a GOD given wife and 12 grandchildren. I now go back to prison as often as I can and share the Good News of CHRIST with others there by helping with a prison ministry. Prison is indeed where I belong and I feel where GOD wants me to be.
But it's because of Christians like yourselves that helped to make a difference in my life. So please know that your love of & for JESUS really makes a difference in folks lives, EVEN IF you never see the results of any seeds you have planted because GOD sees the results and blesses each and everyone of us for doing HIS WILL.
My actual testimony is far too long to post here, but if anyone would like to hear more then just email me and I'd love to share with anyone about what GOD can & does continue to do.
