Looks like we have some things in common, besides our ages! I have just the one son, who is 30, married, and is a new father. He and his beloved gave me my very first grandbaby this past February...a beautiful little girl! Oh my, how I adore her! And like you, I absolutely adore dogs (actually all animals), but dogs are my passion! I used to work in animal rescue from the Amish puppymills here in Ohio. I fell in love with the breed, Bichon Frise. My first Bichon was named Einstein (aka Einey)...my little darling passed away when he was 16 years old. My second Bichon is named Caprinicus (aka Casey)...he's the most loveable and obedient little guy I have ever seen. His mate is another Bichon named Trixie and what she lacks in size she definitely makes up with attitude -- such a confident little girl!!! Not sure if you caught those names of my two boys -- my son loved the Back to the Future trilogy...Einstein (Einey) was the doc's dog in 1985...Caprinicus was the doc's dog in 1955. Trixie was already named as such...and with her hilarious attitude and antics, I think it really suits her!
I am also a Follower of Christ Jesus...have been since I was 9 years old. I love being a Preschool Minister teaching the wee ones the One Who loves them so much that He died so they could live in Glory.
