My name is Chris. I am new not only to this whole website and chat, but also a little new to Christianity. I do not consider myself a Christian or any other particular religion simply because my religious beliefs are too vague to be identified as one religion in particular.
I am here for a few reasons. First, I realized in moving to Korea and going to church for the first time that I have an irrational fear of Christians and churches. It's a long story as to how I ended up going to church in the first place but in forcing myself to go, I've realized the benefits of it. I would like to further conquer that fear by getting to know more Christians. Also, I would like to get to know Jesus a bit more and His followers.
Although I don't identify as a Christian, I do identify myself as agnostic and open-minded. I am on a spiritual journey to further develop my beliefs and get to know Jesus. I have told my friends that I know God speaks to me and communicates with me, but many times it feels like it's in another language. I'm also here to gain understanding.
I am a little nervous to speak to other people about this because it's a sensitive topic but I feel now is the time to talk about it and conquer my fear. I look forward to hearing from you.
