Hi, I have really fallen short
We all have. Just give your brokenness to Jesus. He shed His blood to make us free. That does not mean He will make us perfect. It means that the Father will look at us through the Blood of His precious Son Jesus. We love you and welcome you and want you to stay.:):coffee:

Hi, I have really fallen short but as each day approaches my prayer is to grow closer to Him and His precious Word. This is a productive step so I can make my way back to Him. Pray for me so I may let go and let God.
Hello Pineapples, welcome to CChat! I'm glad that you found us and have joined in the discussions with us :)

Sadly, we all fall short in our walks before Him, but PTL for the remedy that He's provided us with, yes (to always make finding our way back to full-fellowship with Him possible) .. e.g. 1 John 1:9.

A couple of others things are important to remember as well, 1. there is nothing that any of us will ever do that will be a surprise to Him, but He went ahead and chose to save us anyway :) And 2. His love for us is just like He is, from everlasting. What this means is that there was never a time in eternity past when God did not love those of us who were going to be His, nor will there ever be such a time, now or forevermore, in the eternity to come .. e.g. Jeremiah 31:3.

As pastor/theologian said in one of his devotionals,

"Everlasting love shall be the pillow for my head this night" .. Morning and Evening, Evening, February 27th

God bless you! (Psalm 1:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

Whoops, the "pastor/theologian" and author of the devotional Morning and Evening (that I mentioned in my last post) is Charles Spurgeon. Sorry about that @Pineapples. I was editing something and failed to finish before my 5 minute editing time was up.
