HAAAAAAAAAAAPPY NEW YEAR (Gregorian) to all you faithful Believers in Yeshua and Adonai!!! Keep on Keepin' on in His Holy name!!!!!
It's been a while since I've been here... a couple years perhaps. Well, Adonai has been soooo good to us indeed!!! I am sooooo grateful that He has brought us through unscathed, the winter storm last week. We were only without power for a bit over 3 days. I'm really thankful they were able to get it back on that quickly before all our food spoiled!!! I quickly took the berries out and made jam of them. Oh my was that delicious! Nothing was spoiled!
Woo hoo to Adonai!!! At our age and health (hubby 76 and myself almost 72) it's not easy for us to go out to replace anything. and there's not a whole lot of folks around us that's willin' to give a helpin' hand. Yea, it's soooo sad the way people have become so distant toward each other. We really need to start prayin' that God sets people straight on that! I mean, didn't Yeshua say "do unto others as you'd have 'em do unto you"? Ain't that the "golden rule"? least ways I thought it was.
Ok nuff of that... let's get happy now!
I got a neighbor that used to live next door... I sure do miss them real bad! They was some real sweet folks, I tell ya. Well the son came by last night "to check on us" he says... but we knew he was here to see my other neighbor that lives across the street. but still it was nice of him to stop by. I love that boy. I calls him my "grandson" cuz he's about that age. lol. It's our job as grandparents to be sure our grandkids learn all there is to know about Yeshua. So you go and teach 'em all you can! If I do it so can you! FOR THE KING!!!
God love ya! Stand strong in Him, cuz we're headin' for some terrible times a'comin'!
They already tryin' to deny Christianity and to jail any who are! STAND STRONG IN HIM!!!

Welcome back YWPMI. I look forward to hearing more from you.

For the past few years I have been helping an older couple in my neighborhood. They were both in their 80's when we met. A year ago she died. The day after her funeral he fell and broke his hip. He also has cancer and significant mobility issue. He is now in assisted living.

His family dropped in like vultures and literally stole everything they could get their hands on; furniture, tools, two very new pick-up trucks, even his snow blower and lawn care equipment. One family member took the house that my friend said he, "Practically gave to him". Other family members live nearby including one daughter who very quickly tells everyone about her faith. The family will have nothing to do with him and never visit.

After he fell he asked me if I would pick up his mail and I agreed to do so. Its about a 35 minute drive for me to deliver. I now struggle with an issue. His family takes their own mail from the mail box, but leaves his mail for me to deliver. I know there must have been family issues in the past but I still struggle with doing what's right and letting others take advantage of me. I ain't no kid and have issues of my own to deal with.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. I'm making a mail run this afternoon.
