Just joined

I am new to the site, but not to the faith. I figured it would be a nice change to be surrounded by Christians instead of being lambasted anytime Christianity has come up in conversation not to say I don't enjoy the arguments, but it can wear thin. Hoping to find friendly people, good conversation, and answers or at least direction when I have questions.

Hello and welcome to CC. It is important for us to have fellowship with believers. In fact I would say essential. I have made the mistake in the past of not doing so and have found my walk with the Lord hindered. I hope you enjoy and are encouraged.

That's the boat I have been sitting in for a while now. I just recently joined a Bible study and it has been wonderful, and have been wanting to join a community like this to have that fellowship/friendship more than once a week.

Excellent. I used to be very connected and in the last year have allowed "life" to keep me out of church and Christian fellowship. But I am now getting back in touch. God Bless
