Once I told a girl I didn’t want to have sex for awhile because I needed to figure out my emotions. She became very upset. I realized she associated sex with accepting her as desirable and declining was rejecting her. That and I think she was aware that it was a power she had over me and my ability to obstain relinquished her power. It’s a horrible game we play with sex involved.
