Hi, I am new here, I come from a southern baptist background but now I just consider myself a nondenominational Christian because I don't agree with the hypocrisy of the baptists and judgementalism of fundamentalists, they act like pharisees. I love god nd Jesus Christ. I am a very creative person, I am an artist and I write fiction stories and poetry. I am female and 30 years old. I like animals and nature, and fantasy, like dragons, unicorns, fairies, etc. I read Christian historical romance and Christian fantasy novels, Christian devotional and inspirational self help books. I read a very good book on the positive history of Christianity, called "A People's History Of Christianity," very good book. I like to study the Bible. I like mythology and fairy tales, I compare pagan world mythology tales to Bible stories and Bible characters. My favorite Bible stories are the story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis, the story of Ruth, the story of Queen Esther, and the stories about the prophet Daniel. In the new testament my favorite parable that Jesus told is the story of the good Samaritan. I like the stories of Jesus freeing people from demon possession, the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, and the story of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the woman with the alabaster jar washing Jesus feet with her tears, the woman caught in adultery, and Jesus feeding the five thousand with five loves of bread and two fishes from the little boy's lunch.
