Don't feel abandoned. We have all been through pain involving abandonment from others. The Bible is a creation of the human mind, and as humans it is bound to be imperfect. Love is enough, but only if we by ourselves are enough. You must seek strength in yourself and that is the only way in which you can be enough and not through depending on another. As hard as it may be to hear, I have realized the same thing in my life as well. When you love yourself unconditionally, and dont blame yourself for the actions of others, and when you find someone who can do the same, then you both can be complete. And that is how true love can spawn.
