New to cristianity..sort of.....

Hello,

I have been to church a few times in my life and never have felt what others have felt. I want a relationship with God and I don't know how to do it. In fact today I told myself that i was going to go to church, I even called a prayer line to help me get there. when the time came I lost my nerve. I was so afraid to just do it..I need help and i don't know where to get it. any suggestions?

Oh outcry, I remember crying out that day, too...how desparate I was. I know God is hearing you and will put into your path everything you need. Maybe not all at once...but from experience: When we start pursuing the things of God. He makes sure we are ok. It's the beginning of trusting. We kinda start out sorta blank feeling like we need our footing.And most of all we want to go back to what we were doing before. Just know that the things of God are not the same as we have been living before. It's ok though...It's really true...One leads to death and one leads to Life...I wouldn't go back for anything in this world. Don't give up. I know I have found the very best thing I could have ever found which is an up close and personal relationship with My God. I'll be praying for you...oh, and a good thing to do, too, is read some of the testimonies from others. That helps me alot. And when you do make it (oh I know you can) write that testimony down. I want to read it. Love you In Him...Jesus, My Savior...Oh dear me...He amazes me...I remember praying one time and then these words came to me: Tell them...tell them because they don't know it's Me that saves them. His Name is Jesus...and He saves us. I needed saving. Love you again, In Him...Kat
