I have been away from God for years. God has been trying to pull me back to him and I think I have finally decided to listen. I know I have to listen!
I wish I could come into the chatrooms and ask for prayers, pray with someone or just celebrate but I can't as I'm on my phone.
Please include me in your prayers. Please pray that I have the strength to stand for God, because this choice might be difficult for some family members to accept. My husband in particular might mock me and I am afraid to tell him of my choice.

I can promise you that you will be persecuted for your faith... Christ even gave us that warning... However, he says that anyone who endures will gain greater riches in Heaven...

#1 thing I would tell you is read your Bible like candy... Just eat that thing up!... And never stop! Don't think you can take a break or you know it by heart... And especially read it 1 on 1 with God... And always, ALWAYS check what people say against His word... Don't take anyones opinion as fact, not even your pastors or mine...

If you don't have a bible, there are tons of websites with a free version... :)

You have a better chance in the forums than the chats. The chat rooms tend to be full of immature, inane, pointless and sometimes inappropriate junk. And the bible chat ignores you if you aren't on mic. Prayer room seems to be mostly empty. We do have a forum here for prayer requests though.

Congratulations! The Lord drew you back to Him for a reason...or several reasons. Keep praying and studying His word and He will give you the strength to hold on and give you what to say and how to say it to your family. The Angels rejoice at your return to salvation!
