I have been to Las Vegas many many moons ago, LOL. Went on a family vaca, took the Amtrak train to Flagstaff, then we drove to Sedona, Hoover Dam, Grand Cannon and Vegas. I do remember the dry heat out in that area, unlike the humid heat here, suffocating sometimes! It was the year the performers went on strike! How my poor Mom was disappointed over that. But, still had a good time. Vegas is a different world for sure, all the lights were beautiful. My favorite place we visited was the Grand Cannon and Sedona! Growing up, my dad took us on vacation just about every year. Of course I was an angry teenager, so, at times, I was to busy being angry with my Father (just everything about him) to really enjoy all the places we went, but, I do have great memories. Before my Father died this past July, we were able to became very close and put all those years behind us. So, have you traveled a lot?

So, when you were younger, was your travel due to family moves? Or just travel for vacations? Just curious as to why your intense dislike for travel is, now that your an adult. Maybe you feel unsettled, or felt unsettled, so now you just want to stay stationary. I am probly grasping at straws, but, it is very curious for sure. I like to travel, I guess, seeing new places are nice, of course I never go anywhere, I don't have the means to do so. But, one thing is truly for sure, when you like your home, and like being where you are, there is certainly no place like home.

i did it out of boredom. seen the states and canada before I was 22.

I learned long ago. every place is the same when you break it down. Indiana is like Texas which is like Minnesota which is like Washington which is like Florida. just the weather and scenery changes the people are the same but sometimes talk funny

So you traveled alone? Wow! Did your parent worry about you? My son want to travel abroad to study in his upcoming years of college. This worries me, but, I have to let him live his life. You truly lived a full adventurous life for sure. Did you go to college? What things besides that all places and people are like another place, did you learn from all the places you were at. What is the kindest group of people that you met on your travels. Is there a favorite place that you traveled to? I would really like to visit Vermont. I don't really have a specific reason, other than I think it would be beautiful, and maybe slower placed. What do you think? Ever been there?

na nobody worries about me. I have done everything alone.

learned - everywhere is the same when you really look at it for what it is.
Kind/Evil people - same everywhere.
did I go to college? - nope I wasnt dumb enough to fall into the government get you in debt from the start trap.
NH is better then VT. but overall I don't like the northeast to many liberals and way to expensive. NH is the last star in the N.E. but its fading fast since its getting overran by the people to its south (Mass)
I preferred the desert southwest and the Montana/ID/WY areas best. South is ok but humidity is bad and the southern cities are becoming just as bad as northern cities with the out of control crime. Atlanta/Birmingham IMO is just as bad as Chicago and Detroit.

Haaaaaaa!!! Interesting. Well, I suppose that you have all very valid points there. With all that is going on in this world, the great amount of complete disregard for God's word, and absolute immoral lifestyles across this vast land, will all see one day, only God knows that day, the judgment this entire world will be put under. But, until that day, continue to pray for goodness and love worldwide as a whole. I hope to be able to travel abit in my later days, if Lord's will be done hopefully. Thanks for all your updates and very informative insight from your perspective.

I would agree that for sure. Technology does bring out the worst in some people. Always want bigger, better, and more of it. The world as a whole, it's never good enough, always have to be one up on everyone else. BUT! There is a lot of good in this world also. The problem is that people in general don't want to hear the good, people feed off of the EVIL things in life. But, again, this is in general, there are many more that are not like that, just not heard about or on the forefront of life.

well its the media who really feed off the evil for the ratings.

we have always had people getting murdered its happened for ages, just now due to tech. everyone hears about it. where as before if someone was killed in Dallas us in Indiana never knew about it. and vise versa

Okay you have a very valid point. Still, there is a lot of good in the world, regardless if we hear about it or not. So, how about this, new topic of discussion. What is your favorite bible verse? If you have one. I am working on reading the Bible, one chapter at a time, in John right now, started with the New Testament. (one a day, well I certainly try). I pray every morning before leaving for work.. I feel unfinished these days if I don't!
