Welcome! Your story touched my heart. Your son is very blessed to have a mother like you. You're a very kind and caring parent. I love what you are doing for children. As a mother myself, I get where you are coming from.
It's great to have you here with us. Merry Christmas and God Bless!

Welcome Catlessi👋, cute cats.... However some people are terrified by cats😰..... But whatever you went through God has always been there. 'The Lord is' He was there in your past, He is here now and will be in your future. All of us made bad decisions before but all things work for good for those whom love God🎄

I'm aware that I joined the site almost a month ago and have neglected to write an intro until now. Better late than never, right?

You can call me "Catlessi", it means Mother of Cats. I have two rescues, a calico and a siamese. The light of my life is my pre-teen son who keeps me on my toes constantly. I'm 32 years old and a single mom, my son's father passed away in Nov. 2017 in an accident. I've been in and out of churches since I was young, needless to say, I haven't found my home church yet. I do enjoy fellowship with like-minded individuals and having Christ-centered discussions. I'm alone here in NH due to a foolish mistake I made. (I relocated here for a relationship with a man I was unequally yoked with.) I work as a paraeducator at a local elementary school. I work with children from low-income families that have experienced a level of trauma in their lives, whether it came from abuse, drug-addicted family, homelessness, etc. It's a challenging job but it's rewarding. I'm also attending college to receive my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in order to obtain my teaching license. My dream is to teach 4th or 5th grade, whether it's in public school, private school, or Christian school.

Welcome to CC! Great intro! You get bonus points for the festive picture, the pretty ink color in which you wrote, and giving significantly detailed content! 😊👍 Thanks!

I am sorry for your loss. And wow, I have admiration for anyone who works with children in the public school system. Glad to have you here, Cat!
