Hey there I'm new to this I'm really struggling with commiting the same sin most weekends I'm sick of letting God down

You're welcome here. Have you ever seen the video God's Chisel? They sort of touch on some of that. That's a tough thing to be struggling with and believe me we all do. I will say giving up is the worst thing you can do. (Giving up as in giving up trying to be any kind of good, not giving over to God. That's a good thing)

Hi there, I also feel exactly the same way as you do jdublin. By the way I'm new to christian chat. Anyway I've been struggling with bad habits for almost 10 years now and when it seems to go really well, somehow I mess it up, and afterwards come the deep dark inward shame. I feel I need to talk to someone I can really trust, cause even though I go to church I'm afraid and shy to open up and get involved. The ppl at my church is very nice but they seem to just have that perfect life and don't care what happens. I have no friends except for my girlfriend and my sister who's studying far away so I only see her like once every 3-4 months, and so since I'm too shy to make real friends I was hoping I could open up to somebody who really cares online, but I must warn you my life is pretty messed up, I just want somebody to guide me along the way and just be there for me, and when I do get happy it only lasts for 3 months max then something happens and I fall into a very deep state of depression with suicidal thoughts. I had such good dreams for my life but it seems like I messed it up completely. I choose not to believe it and replace that with the word of God but it gets very difficult sometime, so if anybody can hear me calling in the darkness please come and help me, and perhaps save me from myself!!!!

I understand where your coming from, for I too still struggle with things of this world, that is why we are a work in progress and that is why we need to keep seeking God through our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus to get us were we need be.
