what do you do when you find out your daughter had an abortion? do you confront her,whatdo you do?

I can only imagine the pain you and your daughter must be feeling.

As a fellow parent, I know what it's like to watch your children make mistakes in life, and to have to sit back sometimes and allow them to learn from making them, but this is something I would have a very tough time handling.

I would approach her and ask her to sit with me so that we can discuss what has hapenned. Talking about it would help the both of you tremendously. I'm not saying it will be easy, but discussing it puts everything out in the open and allows you both to look for perspective and answers in a time where the both of you are hurt and confused.

Pray about it! Ask God to help you find the right words to say to her. This can't be an easy time for her, and she probably needs you more than she realizes.

Pray, and when you are done praying, pray more. No matter how mad or angry you are right now, its nothing compared to how she will feel one day. Maybe not today, maybe not tommorrow, but one day and for the rest of her life. The agony and heartbreak of those who have had an abortion is unique to any other heartache. Its a self-inflicted sin which you can never ever feel totally forgiven for, even though you are when you ask God for the forgiveness. Its a haunting ache that you can never be rid of, like walking around with a hole in your heart that only God in Heaven can fill. Be kind, Be loving, Be firm. ohhh and PRAY
