Just a clarification. God does NOT give us trial and tribulations! When He said we will have afflictions and persecutions He wasn't promising these to us, He was merely making a statement of facts! He was saying that we will have these things because we live in a world that is controlled by satan but to be of good cheer because He overcame the world and so will we through Him. So when the devil throws lemons at us The lord will pick them up and make refreshing lemonade for us. This is what He meant when he said that He will make ALL things work together for our good.

your old ways condemned you that's why you are trying to walk with Christ. Change your surroundings and friends if need be. Don't be like the dog who returns to his vomit there is nothing but regret there
