Wondering if any of you are for real

Hey,
I am new to this forum... honestly I have spent lots of nights lately not sleeping so looking for some things to fill the time. I keep wondering if there are those who truly are in love with Jesus and want to live how the bible says or if as a whole christianity is about church and rules and who has the 'right' beleifs. Also trying to fight a sense of darkness and pressure the keeps coming.. talked with a shrink and they say I am sane So, perhaps I am wasting my time... but figured maybe I will find some worthy answers one day.

1 John 1:5-10 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

You're welcome. Well, I just felt like I should put it on here. I don't really have a reason. If I ever have a feeling to put a scripture anywhere I just go with it because even if it doesn't help that specific person it may help someone else who sees it.

Thank you. Well, I wouldn't call any scripture random I believe it has a reason for being on my mind but yeah, scripture comes to my mind a lot and sometimes I feel I should post it, other times I don't. But the way I see it, it could never hurt.
